On July 10th, Cupertino Seniors claimed victory at the 2025 NorCal State Tournament Championship. The win capped off an impressive multi-tournament winning streak, which began with the District 44 tournament, then the Section 5 regional tournament, and then most recently, the NorCal State Tournament.

Across the span of a week, the Cupertino Seniors went undefeated, winning against top teams from D11, D1, D45, and finally D73 to become the Northern California State Champions. We could not be more proud of this team, many of whom have played together since they were little boys. The final NorCal Tournament game was all teamwork, with great hits from Shiva Kumaraguru, Haruto Niida, Joseph Murai, and Shaurya Jain, spot-on pitching from Jain, and sure-handed fielding without a single error. See the impressive tournament bracket results here!
Oakland, CA is hosting the SLB West Region Tournament, in which Cupertino will represent Northern California against the Wyoming State Champions on Wednesday, July 16 at 2:00pm. Details about this tournament, scoring, and opportunities to follow along can be found at https://www.littleleague.org/world-series/2025/slbws/tournaments/west-region/.
For families wanting to support the Seniors team (and their dedicated families!) in person, the action is at Laney College Baseball Field (E. 8th St. Oakland, CA). Wear your Cupertino Gear and come ready to cheer loud and proud!
Congratulations again to the Cupertino Seniors team- the 2025 Northern California State Champions!
