After winning the 2025 District 44 and Section 5 Championships, the Cupertino Seniors are maintaining their momentum in the NorCal Tournament. They’ve now notched three consecutive victories at the regional level. Cupertino opened with a commanding 10-0 shutout over Auburn on July 5, followed by a decisive 12-2 win against Red Bluff on July 6. On July 8, they edged out Union City in a tightly contested 3-2 battle to remain undefeated in the tournament.
There were a number of incredible highlights, including a grand slam in Game 2 from #25, Shaurya Jain. Jain hit the ball over the fence with all three bases already loaded, scoring four points for his team.
The games were also marked by exceptional pitching, strong fielding and defense, and great teamwork all around.
Winning at the regional level requires not only hard work, but also the dedication of an entire summer to the sport of baseball. We are truly grateful to the Cupertino Seniors for choosing to continue in the 2025 postseason, and to their parents and volunteers for supporting them along the way.
